Just steps from the hotel you will find yourself in a typical Roman atmosphere in the Piazza Campo de’ Fiori, a lively picturesque morning market with fresh fruit and vegetables. It is pretty much the only open air market left in the center of Rome (except for the one in Trastevere). As the sun goes down the piazza turns into a magical living room where people meet for a carefree appetizer, cocktail or wine, and to taste the many Roman specialties in the numerous restaurants or trattorias.
From our hotel you can walk to all of the marvelous monuments of the center of Rome such as: Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Piazza Venezia, Colosseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Castel Sant’Angelo and the Vatican City.

Segway Tour thru the Ancient City. Perhaps this is your first trip to Rome that just wouldn’t be complete with out the highlights of this ancient city.On a Segway you beat the heat as you glide past historic highlights like the Circus Maximus, Arch of Constantine, Roman Forum, Colosseum, TrjJan Column, Capitoline Hill, Santa Maria’s Church and its Bocca della Verità wall sculpture, Orange Garden, Rose Garden, Knights of Malta square, Marcello Theatre.
Borghese tour and Gift of the Gods Dinner

Afternoon at the Borghese Museum. Based on my own visits to many of Rome’s museums over the years, if I had to pick only one museum to visit on my trip to Rome, it would be this one.
Sacrilege you say? Not the Vatican Museums?
Well, really, you should see them both and if you would like to add the Sistine Chapel & Vatican to your pre-cruise experience we are offering an early ‘first in’ tour as an add on available to all guests.
The Borghese Museum is known for one of the best collections of art in the world in terms of sculpture, painting and architecture (the building itself is one of the attractions.) And it’s all in a space that is visitable in the 2-hour time allotment.
The thing that was so special about this museum is that the entrance is limited to 360 guests at a time. So there is no crowd and you can simply BE with the magical Bernini and Caravaggio art. Nothing like the Vatican Museums with its 30,000 visitors per day.
The museum is in the Villa Borghese park. If you end your museum visit early enjoy a visit to the gardens or simply stroll thru the park to our evening’s venue.
Following the tour we will have a private dinner tucked away in one of the finest restaurants in Rome. Savor a gourmet dinner themed around ‘The Gifts of the Gods.’ Explore aperitifs in the wine cellar. Of course, Bacchus would smile at the feast we have planned. Transportation is included.

Roof Top Late Night – we are keeping this tour intimate. If going clubbing is your thing we will help you set out with new friends. But on past adventures we have found that indulging in this rooftop is an experience second to none. This low key sensual evening we will feature a late night wine party on our roof top.
First Class Transportation
- Private Car transfer from Rome Fiumicino (FCO) Airport to Hotel Campo de’ Fiori.
- Group Transportation to the cruise from Hotel Campo de’ Fiori to the cruise port in Civitavecchia The closest cruise port to Rome is located in a town called Civitavecchia. This is approximately an hour and a half from our hotel in the heart of Rome.
A Note on Unforeseen Changes:
We will attempt to fulfil this entire schedule however due to unforeseen circumstances we reserve the right to make changes and adapt to meet any local regulations on gathering or requirements related to Covid-19. Because our contract we are under full penalty to our hotel and vendors all payments are fully non-refundable. We strongly encourage you to purchase Travel Insurance and to include in the policy a ‘Cancel for Any Reason Waiver’ CFAR Coverage!
