Themes for Couples Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas 2014

Embarkation Theme:   New on the Couples Cruise on Brilliance January 2014 you will find a theme for boarding the ship.  Actually this is also a great way to find people from your local area.  Cruisers are encouraged to wear  the colors of their  favorite home town sports team so they can spot other people from their area at a glance!  Let the games begin!  Fun!

  • Embarkation:  home team’s colors – Wear your favorite teams shirt or jersey
  • Night 1.  70’s Dance Party
  • Night 2. Dress Up Dress Down (Formal night for dinner followed by PJ Party)
  • Night 3. Cowboy & Cowgirl (Wild Wild West)
  • Night 4. Fetish Night
  • Night 5. Shades of Gray (play on 50 Shades of Grey) This is a ‘color’ theme

Couples Cruise Embarkation Theme - Team Colors

Couples Cruise Updated us with some fun descriptions and picture for the Brilliance Theme Nights – take a look at what Couples Cruise recommends:

Wear your favorite team’s shirt or jersey.  By wearing your team’s jersey or t shirt, you can easily spot other people from your area. Even if they aren’t from your area, they are still fans of your team which gives you a great icebreaker to start up a conversation with them.

Couples Cruises are designed to be interactive, a place to meet other passengers as part of the experience. Participating with our Team Jersey/T shirt theme is a great way to make new friends and encourage spontaneous conversations.

Couples Cruise Theme 70's

Monday Casual Night/ 70’s Dance Party (casual, Hawaiian shirts for dinner, 70’s costumes for the party)
Ladies – Sundress, Pants and Casual Blouse
Men – Sports Shirt, Polo or Hawaiian Shirt and Slacks or nice Jeans

Torn jeans, t-shirts, tank tops, swimsuits, robes and bare feet are not permitted in the main dining room, at any time.

Monday Theme: 70’s Disco Dance Party  There will be a party on the Centrum and in the Starquest where we will dance to oldies but goodies under disco balls and bright lights. Put on your bell bottoms, platform shoes and giant afro wigs and celebrate.

Tuesday Dress Up Dress Down (Formal night followed by PJ Party)Couples Cruise Theme dress up - dress down
Ladies – Formal Gown or Cocktail Dress
Men – Tuxedo or Suit & Tie

This is our BIG, Traditional, Formal Night, a great night to really dress to impress. You don’t have to wear a tux or a suit and a tie, but this should be the one night you really put on the dog (and a great night for pictures!).

If you are just not a formal guy/gal and you don’t feel comfortable dining with 1,000 people that are all dressed up, tonight would be the perfect time to go casual in the Windjammer dining room on Deck 11.

Torn jeans, t-shirts, tank tops, swimsuits, robes and bare feet are not permitted in the main dining room, at any time.

Tuesday Theme: Pajama Party  After dressing up for dinner, it’s time to dress down for the after party. Put on your sexiest pajamas, lingerie, a Couples Cruise robe, boxers or briefs, and get ready for our sexiest party of the week.

Wednesday Theme Cowboy & Cowgirl (Wild Wild West)Couples Cruise Theme Wild wild west

It’s time to get wild in your sexiest cowgirl and cowboy outfit. Chaps? Vests? Or maybe you want to play Cowboys & Indians, dress as wild as the Wild Wild West. We’re gonna save a whole herd of horses tonight. Pick out that sexy couple and ride ‘em all night long.

Thursday Theme Fetish Night

Tonight is the night to celebrate your kinkier side. Put on your leather, lace up your boots and show off your finest fetish wear. It’s a great night to visit our newly improved dungeon with a double St. Andrews Cross.

Friday Theme Shades of GrayCouples Cruise Theme Shades of Gray

We always save the last night for a color theme (a White Night, or everyone dressed in black), but we were inspired by the popular book series 50 Shades of gray for this charter.

The spectrum between white & black is a theme we have never tried before, but it lends itself to a lot of possibilities. There are a lot of great fashions available today in many shades of gray.

Be creative, but most of all… Be Sexy!

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your upcoming cruise. There are hundreds of circumstances that could cause you to cancel your trip, return home early or force you to seek emergency medical treatment while traveling. Travel insurance offers coverage for unforeseen problems such as, an unexpected financial change or scheduling conflict, a cancelled flight or a serious illness. You even have the option where you can cancel for any reason.

We recommend Travel Insured – Get a quote and buy insurance
