Bliss Cruise Gets Creative With Body Art

Check out the creation of our March 2017 Bliss Cruise magazine cover shot by Avi Ram. It takes the ship we’re sailing on and places two live passengers in front of the tapestry. Through art, the subjects transform into the ship. This has never been done before on the cover of any lifestyle charter. See how it happened with a time lapse video by clicking the image below:

Meet & Greets for Everyone
Just like our other voyages, the 5-night Bliss Cruise in March “packs a punch” with the number of Meet & Greets offered on board. No matter your appetite, we have enough for a whole mouthful of interests — right down to couples who simply want some social time. It’s our core belief that more Meet & Greets mean more connections. More connections means more play . . .International passengers also play on Bliss Cruise. We provide Meet & Greets for the French, German, Asian, and Latin couples that are sailing with us. If you don’t speak any of these languages, no worries, mate. Our international passengers are smoking hot and frisky. Did you know that they connect easily with couples who stop by international Meet & Greets even if they don’t speak the language? Sometimes it’s just a look. Many times its an attempt by the couple to learn how to say “hello.” It’s a fast-track way to get those panties off and discover the playrooms, a place where language doesn’t really matter. Enjoy the fun.Try our new “Love At First Bite” Meet & Greet. It’s on Day 2 at Quisine. Take this opportunity to meet couples of similar age over a casual lunch.

  • Only $25 per person
  • Couples will be seated at tables for 6
  • Tables will be seated by age – under 45 and over 45
Bliss DJs – Proven Superior
Bliss Cruise continues with it commitment to provide a diverse blend of music with the best talent available. We also penetrated the music and adult cruise industry by presenting the first female to ever rock-the-house on a full ship charter, DJ Miss Shelton (November Silhouette). We’re not done though. Miss Shelton is back, but it got us thinking, “Wouldn’t it be nice if two women went at it?” So we added West Coast sensation DJ Bad Ash of Los Angeles, our secret ingredient to this entire program.Joining the ladies are DJ DU, and DJ Philly Phil. Lucky guys, eh?

DJ Bad Ash

DJ Bad Ash (a.k.a. Ashlee, our newest addition, Los Angeles, CA): DJ Bad Ash is a singer, songwriter, and kick-butt DJ that specializes in a repertoire of all-genres. Passengers should expect an interactive DJ experience. Ashlee sang with mega-stars like Stevie Wonder, Justin Timberlake, ZZ Top, Tom Jones, Lionel Ritchie, Barry Manilow, Rascal Flatts, Martina McBride, and more. As a leading DJ, she headlines in West Coast clubs, opened for Snoop Dogg at Heat Nightclub, and holds residency at the W Hotel of Hollywood. Clearly a rising star in the industry, it’s time to kick some Ash. Join us in extending a wonderful welcome to our Bliss Cruise newcomer, DJ Bad Ash.

DJ Miss Shelton

DJ Miss Shelton (Montreal, Canada): Bliss Cruise was the first lifestyle charter to present a female to lead the DJ entertainment team (Bliss Nov. 2016) and our choice was DJ Miss Shelton. Her musical style could be best described as open format. She loves to merge 90′s, Hip Hop, House, and Dance. Miss Shelton has shared the stage with Chuckie, Bob Sinclair, Fatman Scoop, Jazzy Jeff, Far East Movement, and others.

DJ DU (Tucson, AZ & Nashville, TN): Bliss Cruise knows DJ DU, and we’re happy that he’s been busy since first appearing on the Bliss Cruise inaugural trip (Nov. 2015). It’s very difficult to get DJ DU, so we’re thrilled he’s back. Ranked the #1 country club DJ in the nation, DU had performances at NASCAR’s Bristol Motor Speedway, Country Fest USA, the CMA Music Festival, Night In The Country, the NHL All-Star Game, and the 2016 Superbowl. Not to mention performances with Sam Hunt, Rascal Flatts, Old Dominion…just to name a few. FYI — DJ DU likes hugs.

DJ Philly Phil

DJ Philly Phil (NY, NJ & of course Philly): Legend has it that DJ Philly Phil was actually born with two turntables and a mic. Credited sets include Hot 97, Power 105.1, La Mega 97.9, and Z100 of the northeast. DJ Philly Phil has also made all Bliss Cruise sailings. He also holds one of the highest passenger favorable-rankings in surveys. Passengers will dance to the moves from hip-hop, club, rock, 50′s, 60′s, 70′s, 80′s, 90′s, to today’s hits, right down to Latin music. You name it, you get it with DJ Philly Phil.
Bliss Cruise Sound & Music Policy
Bliss Cruise operates under a strict volume policy for its sailings. Our policy change has been tested on the prior Bliss Cruise sailing and it resulted in the most play connections ever by our passengers. We believe sexuality begins at the conversation level and no passenger should have to scream and compete with DJ music. All it does is make for a bunch of people yelling. That’s why, prior to 2 pm, the levels of audio are programmed lower — allowing you quality connection time. It’s impossible for the DJ to adjust the sound higher due to our locking control methods (so please avoid asking). No loud music will happen prior to 2 pm.After 2 pm, the volume may rise to moderate, but this is the maximum level permitted. The afternoon is more vibrant and fun, but we are still focused on having passengers make for good conversations and connections.Late night pool parties and nightclubs may elevate to a higher level of volume. They are designed for high energy and kick-butt parties. If you are not into the scene, Bliss Cruise offers other alternative locations to make for an enjoyable evening.Bliss Cruise recognizes all genres of music, but this cruise is not specific to one genre. On a broad level, passengers should expect a wide mix of genres in all public areas of the ship at all times, to include live band performances. You can be listening to club music, but it could transition at any given time to peak and hit the target demographic in the area.
Laugh Your Ass Off On Bliss

Easily Offended? Don’t come to this show.R.T. Steckel has performed stand-up and sketches at comedic institutions such as the Laugh Factory, the Comedy Store, Upright Citizens Brigade, Improv Olympic and has worked with some of the best in the business including Rob Schneider, Damon Wayans and Chris Tucker. R.T. has performed at Caesars Palace for the HBO comedy Festival and appeared on BET’s “One Mic Stand” hosted by Kevin Hart. He’s also been a guest on Conan O’Brien and Comedy Central. R.T. does not hold back (Warning: You might need diapers to survive this one). R.T. will perform on Day 2 at 10pm in the Celebrity Theater.

The Dominatrix of DittiesThis is another first for the lifestyle and Bliss Cruise. We’re taking one of the lifestyle’s most active female comedy acts and letting her loose for a major showtime performance. This is the first ever appearance by Ditties in a full theater. It’s also our first female comedian to showcase for the entire ship. The Dominatrix of Ditties is a nationally touring musical comedian that “whips” up laughs with a sexy, refreshingly unique and fun musical comedy show about the swinging and BDSM lifestyles. The show is a collection of her experiences, many of which may be similar to yours: becoming a nudist, getting into swinging, deciding between soft swap and full swap, being straight vs being bi, experimenting with BDSM; all while hiding this secret life from her family and friends. She shares her sexual experiences that span private encounters, swing clubs and conventions, house parties, dungeons and cruise ships…all with comically disastrous results.Showtime is at 10pm on Day 4 in the Celebrity Theater.

Bliss Declares Its Independence
In a release, Bliss Cruise announced it has changed ships from Freedom of the Seas to Independence of the Seas for the 2018 sailing.”Originally we were going to be on Freedom of the Seas, but we learned Royal Caribbean is planning a 31-day dry dock of the Independence of the Seas,” said Brian Depenbrock, President of Bliss Cruise, LLC. “We wanted our passengers to reap the benefits from a newer and updated ship experience while staying in the same class of ship.”According to Depenbrock, when cruise ships go into dry dock, they receive routine hotel maintenance (new beds, etc.) and cosmetic upgrades in public areas that include lighting, new carpet, tile work, wall coverings, and more.Freedom of the Seas experienced dry dock in January of 2015. However, conditions on ships change rapidly from passenger use and the ship would feel dated by the time the 2018 sailing commenced. The Independence of the Seas, a younger ship to begin with, is expected to be completed with dry dock in April of 2018.The new sailing dates for the Bliss Cruise charter are Nov. 11 – 17, 2018 out of Fort Lauderdale, FL and visiting Montego Bay, Jamaica, along with Cozumel, Mexico.
